Today I got some new tools. First are the scalloped scissors from Tooltron and then I purchased an industrial snap installation tool. Totally stoked about both of them. My work day seems so much longer when there are new tools at home that I want to play with asap! Will post some results soon.

I saw this on the internet and thought that it was another cool way to use scrap felt. It is industrial felt so I will need to tweak it a bit with wool felt scraps. I will also change it up a bit since it is not nice to steal ideas. Have a fine and felty day!

So I have obsessed about throwing away any felt scraps, they are wool, upcycled or eco-felt all of which are expensive and being an old hippie, I live to recycle. Sooooo I was looking around the Hobby Lobby and discovered this little bracelet with squares that were just screaming to be filled in with little embellished squares of felt. When I say little, I mean little. The squares are about 1/2" square so even the smallest scraps of felt can be used. Blissful smile! The bracelets are less than $5.00 and are adjustable.

So I spent most of the weekend looking at my felt stash and coming up with ways to use small pieces. I hate to throw any felt away. I also made a cool industrial felt case with a wool felt embellishment on it. Am going to make an I-pad case so photos will follow.
